Interesting, part of the reason we don't let our cats outs is because we think owls will kill them.

For sure, the large Great Horned Owls will take cats. There's a Great Horned nest by our property where I've found five cat skulls on the ground below the nest. We never let our cats roam outside the house.Originally Posted by Irving
Saw-whets are pretty easy going, and easy to handle. I put the 5 banded young back into the nest box, and they all fledged a few days later.
Then, they hung out in our yard for 2 months as their parents continued to feed them and teach them to hunt. Fun to watch.

Saw this near Boulder the other day. The upside down BMX bike on the roof was an import fad for a while during the 2000's, but usually it was on a bike rack. This guy had it screwed to the roof with the same brackets that you'd use to secure conduit to a 2x4. I liked how he had his third brake like worked into the rear wheel. I can't tell if that is a chain in the first picture, or more LEDs for a turn signal.

To be fair, the people uniting to protest Trump are the same people committing the violence and murders that plague Chicago ... not gonna get folk to protest themselves.
