Except that they weren't "refugees" they were a middle class couple forced to travel within their own country to please government bureaucrats, and the hotels were all full. They didn't rape anyone, didn't murder anyone, didn't try to change the politics of Bethlehem and didn't demand welfare when they got there (nothing in the Bible says they didn't pay to stay in the stable, clearly they had money or they wouldn't have even gone to the Inn and found out there was no room). They had to go to Egypt first as the government tried to kill the baby. After laying low for about 30 years, the baby (now all grown up) went around spouting off about how cool it would be if we just loved each other and didn't act like dicks. It was such a radical idea they nailed him to a tree to shut him up. He trolled them into thinking he was dead then came back and sparked a movement that has challenged governments throughout history ever since.
