I actually trust TTAG less than CNN anymore. They've long been on the NeverTrumper bandwagon and are clouded by TDS.
When you see the actual comments in context they're not as presented (note that there are quotes around "we're goin to seriously look" but not around "at banning suppressors" ... that's some CNN level hackery).

His gun record is crappier than the bathroom in an indian restaurant after a laxative binge-fest. Let's not kid ourselves, Trump is nothing but a big business politician at this point.
