What kind of rifle is that? At first I was going to say he was holding the magazine, but it looks like a bull pup.

At first glance it looks like an SA-80, but the guy holding it doesn't look like a British soldier to me. However, Jamaica use it as well, so he could be Jamaican

Off topic question:... if the bans on full auto weapons were lifted, would the price of modern firearms versus "classics" be equal/greater/lesser?

Lesser. You used to be able to buy an M-16 for $1,500 and a Mac 10 for like $500, from what I understand. Created a closed market by cutting off new guns.
