OK there rootbrain, did you attend the Springs show this weekend and if you did, did you have luck getting rid of the ammo that you wanted to sell??

If they're factory loads, it doesn't matter.

If you reloaded them, that's where it gets questionable. AFAIK, you can't sell reloads without a license, but I could be wrong. Personally, I wouldn't buy Joe Schmoes reloads, but that's just me.

i am starting to think of possibly having a table at their three (3) day Thanksgiving show. That particular show is supposed to be their biggest and best one but we'll see about that. I'd sure like to see Alex still setting up at some of the Springs shows but he may have swore off of them.....
Alex and his business moved to Nebraska.
He tried a TANNER show about a month back, but sales didn't even cover his overhead/trip expenses.

I may try Sertoma again in the fall.
How was the show this past weekend? I intended to swing thru, but ended up at the warehouse on Saturday over concerns of storm damage.

Mr. APEX (Richard), I hope you get a response as to how the show was last weekend. I'm curious too!
I was aware of Alex moving to "greener pastures" in Nebraska and sure hope he is doing very well with his twin babies AND new business.

Went to the July 26/27 Gun Show in COS at the Hotel Elegante put on by PE Shows.

First off, I've never heard of PE Shows before. Did they take over for RK Shows?

Secondly, the show sucked. Too small to be a decent show. If they spent the extra money that the Elegante charged them to, instead, get a bigger venue, it might have been okay.

$8/person to get in and the wife and I made it past every vendor with plenty of stops along the way in less than 1/2 hour.

While I didn't see anyone selling jerky or honey or jams, there were several jewelry sellers at the show. Given the venue was so small and was being billed as an Outdoor & Gun Show, you'd think they'd want a higher percentage of vendors to apply to the theme of the show.

Thanks for the report about the PE gun show.
RK & SERTOMA are still running their own gun shows here in Colorado Springs.
Gloria & I should be at the next RK show, as long as we all don't wash away first!

Anybody visit the SERTOMA gun show this weekend?
Gloria & I are set up, but in a different spot.
    They actually removed our row!

I did see some interesting items out on tables.

I might stop on over tomorrow, even if it's just to say hello

I stopped by the show today. Pretty sparse but I expected that. At least I made a donation to Christmas Unlimited in time for school supplies.
