Default Hickenlooper apologizes to sheriffs on gun control

Promises better communication in the future and he didn't anticipate the push back.

That's clearly not knowing your constituency--we're not all sucking Bloomberg's cock

KUSA – Governor John Hickenlooper is offering an apology to some of his fiercest rivals on the issue of gun control: Colorado's sheriffs.
The governor's mea culpa came Friday when he spoke before an assembled group of sheriffs from around Colorado.
A Hickenlooper spokesman confirms that the Governor apologized to the sheriffs for not meeting with them prior to the passage of gun control bills they opposed. Hickenlooper also said his administration didn't do a good job anticipating pushback on gun control. According to his spokesman, Hickenlooper pledged better communication in the future.
That account is consistent with a description of Hickenlooper's comments posted on the Montezuma County Sheriff's Office Facebook page. The sheriff's office posting makes additional claims about Hickenlooper's comments that 9NEWS could not independently confirm without listening to a recording of the Governor's remarks.
9NEWS is attempting to obtain a recording of the Governor's comments from several present at the event.
The County Sheriffs of Colorado Association did not respond Friday when contacted for comment.
Most of Colorado sheriffs are suing to overturn the gun control laws Hickenlooper signed last year, saying they violate the Constitution.

Well.....now that makes it all better. Let's all go out and cast our votes for him. Anyone who buys this only gets what they deserve.

Hickenlooper said he did meet with the former New York City mayor, adding that Bloomberg’s idea was to “take existing gun laws and enforce them.

If that statement is accurate is Hick more anti 2A than Bloomy?

The only apology that would be remotely acceptable is your signature on repeal bills Johnny Boy ... anything less is cynical and dishonest political posturing.

He's doing this before the Denver walk across the bridge event. Interestingly almost Every AG hit piece seems to be missing a comments section?
