My new Stihl FS 130R trimmer does, that is. What a beast! Made short work out of a large section of the property where the grass and weeds and thistles were waist high and difficult to walk through. Didn't even slow it down. But it sure likes to eat trimmer line. I picked up some "professional grade" .105 line at the local hardware store because Big R was all out of good quality Stihl-branded line. I guess the Chinese have a different definition of "professional grade" than I do.

It took a little learning curve to figure out that there's no need to prime the damn thing to start it as the directions say (press the primer bulb 5 times). Yeah, right. If you want to flood it. I had to take the plug out 3 times to dry it out. Now, even cold, no priming, no choke. Pull the cord and the little 4-cycle engine fires right up. Pretty much only has two speeds, though...full throttle and idle. Not much in between.

Anyway...if any of you guys were like me and wondering if dropping the coin on a high end trimmer is worth it, it is. I bought some pre-mix fuel and that doubled the warranty from 2 to 4 years. Highly recommended, just like their chainsaws.
