Can't make it out tonight. You know that you have to give us the Siskel & Ebert lowdown on it (No spoilers, just generic info and whether or not it's worth the $$. It looks like it'll be a hit.

I haven't seen Star Trek yet. I'm going to see both this weekend.

I saw Star Trek and LOVED it!

Now, I love SciFi but I've never been a big Trek fan. I'm definitely a huge Star Wars fan though. So, this new Trek movie had a long way to go to prove itself to me. It far exceeded my expectations. The actors playing Spock and Ahura (sp?) were well cast as their looks and mannerisms were spot on. The actor playing Dr. McCoy (Bones) did a great job AND Scotty was hilarious.

This movie played back to a lot of the original series as well as the Kirk-based movies. You get to see Kirk defeat the Kobi-Oshi Marue test, find out where Dr. McCoy gets the name "Bones", how they all meet, etc. While I think that the weakest actor is still the guy who played Kirk, he did a thing at the end of the movie where he came onto the Bridgeof the Enterprise just like William Shatner used to.

    Its a "must see".

I hope Terminator: Salvation is on the same par.
