Best resin for Glock grip reduction?

I've heard good things and bad about Acraglas, Acraglas Gel, and Marine-Tex. I will be stippling it as well after the reduction, so how the resin takes to that is a factor.
To those of you who've done it, what did you use and what did you think of it?

The Acraglas is going to be too brittle. MarineTex, Bisonite or Devcon would be your best bet.
Adhesion will be an issue, none of the above will stipple the same.

As for adhesion, I figured I'd drill a hole or two in the backstrap and scuff up the inside with a file. What would you use if you were to do it?

I'm gonna do a slightly more elongated scallop on the mag release and I'm gonna leave dull bumps for the finger grooves, but this is pretty close to what I'm going for...

I used JB Weld. I scuffed up the inside with some 80 grip sandpaper first. I have full confidence that the JB Weld will stick to the frame. I have no idea how it would stipple.

Now they point where they should.

Did you do anything to match the color? How did you get it into the grip after it was mixed?

I read these instructions to get some tips. I only followed what I thought would help me.

JB Weld will flow. I just kept feeding it down the hole with a small diameter (3/16?) dowel and tapping it to agitate any bubbles up. I didn't color the epoxy. I knew I would cover it with skateboard grip tape so I didn't worry about the color. What showed on the bottom I colored with a paint marker. I don't get too excited about appearances.

I shaped my grip by also adding a Grip Force Adapter first. It added to the upper part of grip area. When that still didn't get the backstrap area to what I needed to get it to point right I did the reduction. When I was carving on the reduction I would hold and point it to see where it pointed. I start just holding the frame then as I got closer I would try it with the slide on. I thought I was done carving until I tried it with the gun cocked and ready to fire (unloaded of course). I found I needed a little more removed.

It took me several months to build up the nerve to start carving even though I bought the guns knowing I was going to do it.

I don't know how well this will show up. It's a before and after composite. You can sorta see where the Grip Force Adapter added on the upper backstrap and where I 'reduced' the lower backstrap.

It's on an early 21.

I was looking at the Grip Force Adapter, but the site says the Gen 4 ones are backordered. I don't really need it, I just like the idea of a beavertail.
I decided I'll try out the heat method first while I'm trying to figure out what to fill the grip with... if it gets the grip to where I want it, I won't need to do anything else, and if it doesn't I can still do the fill and sand method. I worked on it for an hour or so tonight and didn't quite get there, so I'll try more tomorrow and see where that gets me. I'll probably still end up filling/sanding it.
