    Thanks for the input. A friend of mine said he's used this kit from Lowes. Said it worked well but it was tough to do 1/2" in tight areas.

    I agree. Thats why I also have the cheaper $26 one you use with vice grips for a tight spot.

    Pex is a bitch in any tight spot really. Great for construction but service is another story. I've had to cut it back and go to copper before.

    But PEX in a homerun system is my favorite of every system that is in use. Branched PEX systems are certainly cheaper and easier to install, but give me homerun everytime!

    Another happy shark bite customer. Had my outside line crack at one of the valves. Shark bite installed in under 10 minutes with the new valve and no leaks at all even with the sprinklers pressure
    All I have in this world is my balls and my word and I don't break em for no one.
