    1. Run Malwarebytes, one of the best detection percentages, kills spybot and adaware.
    2. Uninstall, clear preferences folder, and reinstall firefox.
    3. Install Chrome, it's better anyways.

Ran the malware and removed a bunch, Uninstalled and cleared out Firefox. Open chrome that was installed on here a long time ago...... SAME FLIPPEN ISSUE!!!!!

Can you roll back the computer to an earlier time? "System Restore"? since you kinda know when this all started. Just a thought.

I had the same problem on my wife's computer. For some reason a few programs were installed around the same time firefox was updated/installed. Look at all your programs and delete the ones that were installed recently. Probably the same date that Firefox was installed.

Could also have configured different DNS or proxy settings on your PC network settings. Might want to verify those.

Are you running Adblock Edge (preferred) or Adblock Plus? Find them in the Add-ons.

For PCs, Malwarebytes has always worked for me.

I run Adblock Edge on both PC and Mac. Barring any viruses, it takes care of all ads.

System restore to a date before your popups started. Then find and install the Firefox add-ons Adblock and Ghostery.
