Had a similar conversation with an employee about a story I heard from another shop that had an employee with neck and face tattoos. Well the guy went on an install and the homeowner refused to let this, "gang banger" (her words) into her house to do the install. I told my employee that I would not hire someone with face or neck tattoos and he said, "that discrimination." I said yes it is and it's my business and my choice. He seemed to think that it is wrong to discriminate. I told him everyone discriminates, between what they eat and who the hang out with. Discrimination is part of life and saying it is wrong will not get you a job if the employer has a standard for hiring that goes against your from of "self expression."
