    Default Got a young daughter??

-that might someday want to get into modeling? Please, for her sake, tell her to skip the tattoo studio. I have been dealing with the commercial photography scene, and clients therein, since the mid 80's and the prevalence of ink in recent years among prospective models really limits their job prospects. There are candidates that would have gotten the job but when it comes down to candidate A who requires several hours of retouching post-production vs candidate B who is a clean slate, it's no contest, we're going with the clean slate.

Wanna model? -skip the ink until you are sure that isn't a venue you are after - or acknowledge that a whole lot of jobs are going to those who skipped the ink sessions instead of you.

(I'm not anti-ink...but it severely compromises your modeling prospects with commercial clients )

Thanks for letting us know. I don't know my kid will be a modeling level or not, but I do know some corporate (US or foreign) have some strict policies on tattoo.

Seen more bad ink on cute females lately. It's called a tramp stamp for a reason. It doesn't look good, period.

That full sleeve may look good on paper but looses a lot on the arm.

I like "good" tats but haven't seen many lately.

Not a fan of ink on a woman, especially the ones covered on the sides, sleeves, chest. To me it makes a beautiful woman look like a graffitied train car.

I like it when it is on certain areas and they want to show it off.

Every time I see a chick with the required tat just above their ass crack I think "Everyone's got one now....so it's not cool".

I do prefer women to shave their legs if they're going to show them but otherwise I tend to like them as Nature made them. A beautiful woman needs no augmentation or decoration.

I must be the odd man out because I happen to like tattoos on women. Definitely agree with the OP though. Don't get them unless you are 1000% certain they won't interfere with your career choice for the next fifty years or so.
