Default Mexican Military Helicopter entered US and fired on US border Patrol agents

Here is an interesting little tidbit.

    Business Insider

A Mexican military helicopter crossed into the U.S. and fired on two Border Patrol agents in Arizona during the early-morning hours on Thursday, according to Reuters. A Border Patrol agent who Business Insider spoke with on condition of anonymity said that the two agents were in a marked Border Patrol vehicle when they were fired upon.
The chopper missed the two agents and returned to Mexico. Mexican authorities later contacted the U.S. to apologize for the incident, according to KVOA-TV Tucson.

However, Border Patrol Agent and Union Vice President Shawn Moran isn't buying it. In an interview with Fox News, Moran said, "The Border Patrol vehicle was clearly marked and it's very hard to mistake those vehicles for anything else.

Go to the North Korea / South Korea border where they routinely shoot at the Americans across the DMZ. No apologies.

Because "we" have not been a country, other countries respect, or Fear, for some time. Then again perhaps that helicopter did not see Our Line in The Sand.

For every reported incursion, undocumented child, errant OOPS by helicopter, Another cartel drug tunnel uncovered. We ignore unknown number of islamic terrorists Unchallenged in this country.

A number of years ago I was at a class hosted by the Pinal County (AZ) Sheriff's Dept. There were a few BORTAC guys in the class. Some of the stories they told were absolutely mind blowing. Mexican Army HMMVs with mounted M2s 50 miles inside the US. Platoon strength elements armed and in uniform crossing the boarder regularly. Constantly being told to stand down, not engage, back off. It sounded like a very frustrating job. Mind you this was about 2006 or 7. I can't imagine things have gotten less silly down there.

I had a class date for a BP academy back in 89 when I got out of the AF. A few weeks before the start date it was cancelled due to a federal hiring freeze. I was very disappointed. Knowing what I know now, probably one of the best things that ever happened to me.

Not surprising, I heard a few stories from guys in the Army that were from west Texas in the Big Bend and Terlingua area that told stories of the same thing. A few people from the area would swear they saw uniformed, armed Mexican Army personnel escorting civilians over the border once. I was hesitant to believe it then, but anymore I'm not so sure.
