I find it hard to believe that during one of their ground-based incursions, they never stopped at AAA and picked up better maps for their pilots. I'm calling BS.
Do you think we'd get into trouble for firing upon them? That or maybe we should just take them over and annex them, they're already jumping the boarder so why not just take over their country too?
Firing at an armed helicopter may not be the wisest idea.

It's not a problem be it .308 or 338 lapua. Hell a 300wm will put a dent in their day, real quick. First light off a bunch of 8-12oz rockets, or other aerial firework displays. The clutter will mask heat heat signature and or confuse point of origin when fired upon. Hypothetically.

With small arms the pilot or tail rotor is the ticket. If you can draw them into a hover while trying to target something all the better...
