Test fired my new AR 9 pistol build. Dead on with that optic. Fires nicely but aluminum ammo had a few hiccups.

The .223 Savage I bought for $74 at WM a couple of weeks ago shot nice at 100 yards. This is 45gr ammo. Now I want to take it out 300 yards or more.
Dragonmans today because other ranges were closed. Not to crowded for a holiday.

Threw together a stand last Sunday to hang steel plates on rimfire range in back yard.

Need to hunt down some rubber or fire hose straps to replace chains.

Two "new to me" pistols not long ago: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TbtaKJW-snQ&t

The CZ P-10F OR had some problems with handloads (bullet depth was the problem, flat point, and an aftermarket barrel), but when using factory ammo, she ran like Rosie O'D going for a donut.

The P365XL NRA is a powerhouse for a micro compact - dang, what a shooter too! She sang like Cher trying to "turn back time".

Getting my 10/22 all set up for appleseed, and practicing using the loop sling during standing.

20 rounds standing a couple weeks ago, no loop sling (was using hasty sling)

20 rounds today using the loop sling.

Nearly every day for the past two weeks I've gone to a high mountain lake to watch for the ice break up and look for river otters that dive for fish and consume them on the ice sheets. Still two or three days from full ice break but on my way back I stop at a place in the forest where I can safely shoot. I've been shooting almost every day, mostly with the .300 Blackout rifle suppressed, the Kimber Micro 9, the old Taurus PT92, and the Glock 27. Tomorrow will take the DDM4V11 suppressed, and maybe a Garand. I always have a Garand. Have to go early before the weekenders show up. Paper and cardboard targets only and always retrieve the brass.
