How many vacations do you take a year?

Staycations for me, I can take three a year, but usually only take two full weeks, spread throughout the year, and my last week I take a day here and there.

Self Employed. Took one in 2012 to Yellowstone. Otherwise, Elk Hunting Only, and a few days here and there. Don't have a lot of time for other hunting.

Va'ca'shun....none, with very few 'sick' days. Figure I'll see the inside of my coffin before I take a real vacation.

I'm retired now but I'm not sure I had vacations when I was working. I had time off. We had 24/7/365 coverage where I worked. They didn't staff to cover vacations or time off other than 'week ends'. We were expected to work over-time to cover any time off we took. That meant even though I took 4 weeks of 'vacation' time off I worked 4 weeks of extra time. We generally worked 2 or 3 hundred hours of overtime in addition to the overtime to cover vacation also.

The overtime is one of the reasons I was able to retire early.

Used to work 4.5 months out of the year and hunt, fish, and snowmobile the rest.

Family and new job I get 8 holidays, 6 sick days they dont care if you use for a random day off, and 10 vacation days now. Ill take 2 trips one in the summer and one at Christmas a week each.

Mine are in 22 day increments due to my schedule. So I generally take one in the summer and one over the holidays if possible. This year had most of January off, most of June, and will take most of September. All of our family is in TX so we generally go there once a year.
