Not effective for at least 9 months. I highly recommend not carrying til the rest of the bill becomes effective. There are delayed times built into the bill before it is law.

That gives the anti's in Colorado legislature time to prohibit carry in state parks thereby revoking the right to carry in national parks located in our state. You know it's for the kids.

I don't see them even trying. I mean, you can already carry in the Pike National Forest, and there are no recorded incedents of anyone using their CCW in an illegal manner, so I doubt they'll even oppose anything else.

As I've said in some thread I go to the NPS out on Sims in Lakewood from time to time to sell them coffee. I spoke to some of the employees that buy from me and most of them said they were against it. One Lady even claimed to be a NRA life member and she was against the new law. She stated that "its going to pressure the rangers". WTF! I would think it would help the rangers from filling body bags with the innocent. Or stop mugging or rape or whatever. Some people just don't get it! CCW isn't a licence to do "evil" its the other way around....stops "evil". Life time member of the NRA. Just another reason I don't support the NRA. They have closet libs on there roll!
