    Down on my side of town it looked like Baghdad!
    Did not need to spend a dime, my neighbors always put on a good show.

    Things were pretty quiet here in my neighborhood last night. In fact, when I looked outside this morning I told the wife it seemed odd for there not to be any firework remnants or burn spots somewhere on the street.

    We do have an unrestricted view of Thornton, which about a 1/2 mile away. Good show.
    It seemed like quite a few folks had disposable income this year and spent a bunch on fireworks.
    I could only afford to light a match.
    The most important thing to be learned from those who demand "Equality For All" is that all are not equal...

    I actually made it down there. Showed up right at 9:30, watched the show, and then immediately left. Parked right across the street from that 7-11.

    Very loud down here too, many mortars. I can hardly wait until 2017, (Barack president gone) you will need welding goggles, due to the glare.
