Took the kids to a local 4th of July parade, and saw a contingent of MDAGSA parading in the contingent. Other THR members probably have seen this before, but this was my first direct exposure to the Mothers group.
A few things struck me about their presence:
- the front ranks held a huge, high quality banner (nicer than the local FD or any veterans group had)
- all (some 35-40 of them) had professionally printed signs and placards
- They were all dressed in quite well done t-shirts with the MDAGSA across the front and back
- They also had a booth presence in the festival center, again with professional tabletop banner, placards and collateral.
- They had an array of issue papers and fill-in-the blank letters for folks to mail their local politicians.
