Default Recent approval on paper forms?

Just out of curiosity, wondering if anybody has had any paper forms approved as of late in CO? I'm seeing quite a few in Dec being approved as well as Nov. Nothing from CO in a while though. I have several papers in and many that are approved on nfatracker pended after mine.

I am still within the 7month window on my next expected stamp so not in the "worried" camp yet. My understanding is 8months is still normal for right now for paper. This will be interesting to see the responses though.

Probably doesn't help you, but I had a batch of mid-march eForm 4's come through over this past weekend, so the ATF is nearing completion on the backlog of pre-freeze eForm submissions. New eForm 1 and paper Form 1 *should* be coming through within a couple weeks of each other after this month.

Thanks for the info guys. I had a batch of eforms come through in May but was wondering on the papers. When you see paper forms being approved that pended a couple weeks after your own it makes you wonder! Pickles was initially assigned mine but i haven't seen anything approved by him in a while.

I've got a E-form 1 that was sent in at the end of February, checking NFA tracker it should be getting really close, I'm seeing others that were submitted at the same time as mine even a little later being approved. The paper one I sent in May when the e-file system was down is looking like it won't be back until Feb/Mar of 2015.

What happened to all the new employees they hired to speed up this process, I'm not seeing waits improve at all, and didn't they pretty much double the staff?

More than doubled - they were down to 8 or 9, and have added 15 more since last year, along with the non-examiner assistants, and examiners loaned from other branches. I've been seeing a LOT faster times on easy transfers like Form 4 to/from SOTs.

Got mine back (7/1) as well but I had an error that needed to be fixed. Sent it back last week so hopefully I see a quick turnaround on it!
