Another way of looking at is is dispatching LE agents (riot troops specialized in crowd control) to allow other LE to do their jobs...

Meanwhile, we have a President who says he has to act on his own because Congress will not. Uh, Mr. President, Congress has acted, including many years before you were ever sworn into the office. The immigration laws are on the books. It's YOUR JOB to execute and enforce those laws, not break them because you or your party don't like them. You swore an oath, and now we all see what you do with the power entrusted to you by the people. You act like an insolent king.

Meanwhile, we have a President who says he has to act on his own because Congress will not.

He's really ignorant of the Constitution for a "Constitutional schlolar". Just because congress does or does not do something doesn't give him the authority to do or not do it depending on what he thinks is best. And why isn't he accountable for breaking the law...over and over again? In my opinion he, and most of his cabinet, and most of the house and senate are derelict in the performance of their duty to uphold and protect the Constitution.
