So if a person is in that age range and didn't serve you hate them?

We need to stop being offended by generalizations. It's making the population suck.

By stating "the population" I know that you're not talking about me.

Sometimes those that make the ultimate decision to sign on the dotted line pay the ultimate price.

I didn't serve. I guess you hate me. And by the way...your math is pretty re-goddamn-diculously awful...nowhere near half of our generation went into the military. I hope your job in the military doesn't involve math.

Can I just say this is possibly one of the dumbest opinions I've read in a long time...what an asinine thing for someone to say.

Hate is such a strong word. But yes, from my experience, limited as it may be due to being overseas so much, I tend to not like them very much

Thanks. Appreciate your opinion. No I don't hate you. I've probably never met you.

How easy it is to forget that smart people can do some dumb things, but they can learn from them.
I would be more sanguine if I encountered more young people who seemed willing and interested in learning. I knew about the three branches of government including the bicameral legislature, why the Founding Fathers fought the Revolutionary War, specifics of their grievances, how the Constitution was structured, etc. by fifth grade. I constantly run into high school juniors and seniors and college kids who haven't got the foggiest clue about any of that, aren't embarrassed by their ignorance, and have no intention of correcting their ignorance but are intent on "making government work for the people".

I have no problem with political views being all over the place but I think younger people have inconsistent political views because a lot of you grew up uninformed and uninspired and miseducated by a school system run by the NEA and Democratic Party proxies.

Prime example of the ignorant obnoxious garbage that prompts the very generalizations that you dislike.

But I think that the spread of political views across this demographic is going to be a good thing in the long run.

Now that I can agree with you on...one of my biggest pet peeves is people being inconsistent in their beliefs. It shows a lack of critical thinking (and a lack of thought about the subject in general).

I'll give you obnoxious, but ignorant? You use that word...in the words of the great Inigo Montoya..."I don't think it means what you think it means".
