Obama just announced sanctions against Kalishnikov (and other Russian entities)

Maybe I'm missing something, but I don't see how these new sanctions are going to affect 99.9% of existing U.S. AK owners or the retail supply of new AKs. How many gun buys or retailers have direct dealings with Kalashnikov? Not to mention there are plenty of good alternatives like Arsenal to choose from. Although I do expect AK retailers to whip up hysteria to move more stock at a higher price point.
