Maybe the fact that the commercial airliner that they were travelling on was blown out of the sky with a deliberate, targeted missile strike?

Could very well be random happenstance, bizarre coincedence, or pure bad luck, but who knows. Human nature is to analyze and find reason (real or imagined).
