We all know this is a political gesture. 1K troops along 1K miles, is ineffective, to say the least. HOWEVER If and when the DOJ, and or Obama speak, up saying it is not the states responsibility to patrol the border. It gives R's more fodder coming closer to November.
We all know both sides of the aisle could care less about illegals, Dems for the votes, R's for the workers.
