Anyone know of any place that has .22lr in stock along I-80?
I'm going to be driving along I-80 through Nebraska and Iowa for the next two days. Does anyone know of any places that have .22lr in stock en route? I can pick some up for you in exchange for Intel. Feel free to post or PM.

gaybelas, there's a wally world off the 80 bypass north side of omaha that's usually loaded with ammo. You running 80 down to 29 (south Omaha bypass) or the 80-680-29 northern bypass. The WM is off the northern bypass once you're west side of omaha.
google or what ever search engine you have for Big 5 and Dicks. they are all over NE. IIRC there's a decent one in Kearney. Kearney has WM super center, Hogans, and Cabelas. There are some good eats in Kearney, once you're off the I80 food mall area.

We usually end up making at stop at the North Platte Wal-Mart, but that place tends to be a madhouse every time we're there for some reason. Haven't had any good luck there in the last several trips. Anybody live out by Fort Morgan - I'm assuming the WMs there are pretty picked over on a regular basis too.

Rarely any chance at cheap 9mm (WWB) and never a chance at 22 cal. There is a group of old retired guys that turns scouting case early in the morning. 10 minutes later cheap 9mm and 22 are gone.

According to BrassBadger, not a single Walmart along the highway between Chicago and Denver has .22LR.

I never believe what any online place says, regarding ammo. It's updated say 6am. WM receives their orders 7 and inventories by 9.According to BrassBadger, not a single Walmart along the highway between Chicago and Denver has .22LR.
