Bannockburn: The Real Bravehearts
Very well done documentary on the battle of Bannockburn by National Geographic Channel. Excellent run down on the preceding history, the English and Scot personalities that were at play, the weapons and tactics, etc. Sorry for the late notice but it repeats at 9 PM -- catch it if you're interested.
I saw it too but the NGC special was still very good.
I turned it on last night to help me fall asleep. Although that red-haired "lady" historian gave me nightmares....

Girlscouts? Hmmm, I don't know... I think it's kinda dangerous to teach young girls self esteem and leadership skills.
The wife and I watched it, it was pretty well done and we enjoyed it.
Recommended if you have any interest in English and Scottish history.
