LaserLyte training system

I found a thread from 2011 but this is a different system. This interests me because the cans are reactive plus you can put them at different levels in different locations in the house.
Plus I've developed the capability to quickly forget where they I put them
Looks like about $150 (also need the proper caliber laser cartridge) with free shipping from Amazon. What sayeth the herd ?

I use a SIRT red/red laser pistol and Laserlyte reaction time targets for in-house training. The reaction time targets are compatible with any red laser (but not green, checked with my DBALs), and the SIRT makes it easy to have a standalone sitting on the kitchen counter at all times. Plus it takes CR123 batteries and not those tiny watch batteries like bore insert lasers take.

I actually just took an online SIRT training offered by the NRA and found the SIRT pistol to be a little pricey.

The SIRT is pricier up front, yes. However when you factor in the cost of batteries, I think it's better in the long run. The tiny watch batteries that the bore insert lasers run off of are expensive, and they don't last nearly as long.

Plus having the SIRT as a dedicated unit means it's much easier to just grab it off the counter and go. Since it's not a real pistol, you don't have to pull it out of the safe, stick the bore insert laser in, etc. Convenience = more daily practice.

Plus the manual resetting for non-double action guns is a huge drawback to the bore insert lasers.
