Just returned from a Alaska cruise. Couple things happened on this trip that some of you may find interesting. Number one we bought some internet time to use on our mobile devices since our carriers had poor coverage. I signed on and accessed my email. I asked a local dealer by email to hold a Sig p226. The dealers response to my email was not visible so I ran a search of my folders for p226. The wifi and email froze up. Thinking it was a technical error I tried again. Same thing happened. I signed on again and searched my folder for several no gun items and had no problems. Tried the p226 search and was dropped again. Now I also had gun broker auction bid going and I attempted to access the GB web page and I a screen came informing me the content was blocked because it was deemed to be inappropriate website. Either I did loose the auction.
Number 2 my brother in law owns the Outdoor Edge knife company. He brought a couple filet knifes for a planned Salmon fishing trip. He checked them in his baggage and had no problems getting through TSA. However they were confiscated by the Carnival Security staff who do found them in the xraying of his luggage.
Number 3 Don't have a prejudices but why don't cruise ships hire Americans or English speakers for Security work?
