Default Where can I get a deal on a few dozen blankets and towels for a dog and cat shelter?

MaxFund shelter put up a post looking for blankets. Can anyone recommend a place to get a large number of blankets? I'd like to pick up a bunch and donate them to the dog shelter.

I would also appreciate a lead on a few dozen towels for the cat shelter.

Thrift stores. Go in with letterhead from shelter, they practically give it to you for free. Bring in a kitten , puppy and or pictures. This way they load your vehicle up for you.

thanks for posting this--got both my dogs from MaxFund--they're a great organization that certainly doesn't get the press or donations that dumb friends gets.

Goodwill has an outlet store down off i70 and monaco. They do everything by weight.

Go to the area feedlots with big cowboy crews and ask them for their old horse blankets. Dogs love em

Also Army Surplus stores normally have used GI wool Blankets for cheap, that's what we always used to get for our pups. They stay warm even when wet.
