The other thing you might consider is leaving your name off the Trust if you ever plan on building an SBR or SBS. Your Trust name will have to be engraved on the newly-created firearm. If you ever sell the firearm, do you really want YOUR surname traveling around in the stream of commerce? With my luck, that's the gun that some wacko would steal and then use to go shoot up a schoolyard.

I had read elsewhere that recommended naming the trust "Lastname Trust".

You recommend using a more generic name such as "Freedom Trust" or something to that effect, are there any issues with having a trust with the same name as someone else's trust?
