Awesome.
NPR interviewed one of the writers who churns out those movies one after another. Sounded like a fun gig, but he said it doesn't pay a ton and they want the script in only two weeks.

Coulda written it within a 6 pack.
^^^This. Bring the lame ass special effects guys, some hookers, and some homeless bums and make that shit up as you go.
I watched it last night. It was fucking brilliant. In a b movie cheesy aspect. Tons of cameos. Tons of classic more scene repeats like from Airplane. Ted striker was the plane pilot. Guy from the tv show Taxi was the taxi driver. Al Roker was the weather reporter. Was entertaining when views for what it is. A spoofy nonsense movie.
Oh yeah it will be a cult classic like Attack of the Killer Tomatoes, Mars Attacks, Rocky Horror Picture Show, etc.
There is $$$ to be made so that is why they get little pay but a pc of the action forever. (check Vin Diesel in his XXX ownership)
I watched it. It was as stupid as the first one. Oh well, life goes on, and on, and on ...
