    Default LE should carry Naloxone

Lets prevent over doses, have LE administer the OD stopper.

Does this guy actually do any thing for law abiding citizens??

    http://www.nbcnews.com/storyline/ame...loxone-n169531

The Justice Department says an average of 110 people in the U.S. die from drug overdoses every day — more than those killed by gunshot wounds or car crashes.

If they banned heroin, wouldn't that resolve the issue ? Just saying, yo

Let Darwinism take its course. No need to have police carry this drug with them. Actually no 1st responder should have it.

A heroin OD is the call that pretty much put an end to my career. He was in the back of a POS RV and was a hoarder who lived in his own shit. That right there about sums up most heroin junkies. Jacked my back up throwing him out the door on to the grass. EZIO drill and 2mg of Narcan and the shitbird was breathing again.

I have no problem with LEO's carrying Narcan, less work for EMS.

Who trusts cops to give drugs to people? Which jurisdiction would like to take on that liability?

Denver should spearhead this project. They don't have too many irons in the fire with PR, at the moment.

Just open an Opium den and stock it with lots of Narcan. That should make things better.

This is a horrible idea. Cops have enough on their plates rather than having to be the ones expected to deliver this injection to shitheads who have OD'd.

100% agree as a former EMT and former pharmacist.
