Default Any web developers on here?

We might have need of a new website. It would need to handle on-line ordering.

Any of you jokers do web site development?

Ecommerce is a pain. You need a merchant account and payment processor (monthly fees) then you need a shopping cart. Also deepening on your sales volume there are all sorts of regulation your merchant account provider will make you follow (PCI compliance).

I would look into a service like shopify.com or yahoo small business (https://smallbusiness.yahoo.com/ecommerce) and if you grow out of thier model expanding to something more standalone. Or just look into using your PayPal account and make people buy through PayPal (they can still run CC's)

Note: I have no experience with shopify.com or yahoo, but have done multiple ecommerce projects. If you decide to go another route I would strongly recommend hosted payment forms (limits your pci compliance), it will make your life easier in the long run.

The guy across the street from me designed, built and manages several online retail sites. I could ask him if you'd like me to. I have no idea what kind of price range he works in. He's also a gun guy, just not on this forum.
