Talking Smaller Eateries Serve Up Welcome for Guns

    http://online.wsj.com/articles/small...p_EditorsPicks

While guns are off the welcome list at chains including Chipotle Mexican Grill Inc., Starbucks Corp., and Sonic Corp., a small but growing number of independent restaurateurs around the country are rolling out the red carpet.
Eateries like Shiloh Brew & Chew in Maryville, Tenn., are posting signs saying guns are welcome. All Around Pizza and Deli in Virginia Beach, Va., is offering discounts for patrons who show up armed, while The Cajun Experience in Leesburg, Va., hosts "Second Amendment Wednesdays." At Shooters Grill in Rifle, Colo., the waitresses pack heat.
Some gun-policy experts suspect that the niche of pro-gun restaurants will grow, alongside some smaller chains that take the opposite approach. Several small restaurants in Georgia, for example, have adopted more-restrictive policies in the wake of a new state law that allows people licensed to carry weapons outside the home to bring them into some bars and elsewhere.
The restaurants actively inviting patrons to dine with guns say they have experienced few problems related to firearms so far.

I had a restaurant for a few years. I wouldn't care if some one open carried a handgun on their hip or concealed carry. But would definitely draw the line on the idiots who walk in with long guns. Just pisses me off the way they continue to push the issue. The pictures of obese rednecks and hillbilly looking db's with ar15s on their back in a fast food joint just reinforces the anti gunners argument that we're all "gun nuts". Grew up in a very conservative small town and that type of behavior is not tolerated. No different than the Gay lobby shoving their lifestyle on people with their outlandish actions. There are plenty of people who don't agree with a certain viewpoint but are willing to live and let live until it gets shoved in their face. How about a little moderation.

To anger a conservative, lie to him. To anger a liberal, tell him the truth.

    Yup, they're the best.

What restaurants Denver Metro cater to gun owners?
