West of Fruita, there is this really big range called Utah.
A Pawn Shop at 353 Pitkin Ave, Grand Junction, CO 81501 is an interesting place to browse.
I believe Foxtrot is the resident GJ aficionado and if you go by his place of business you can get a hair cut![]()
Go support the restaurant that everyone's been talking about..... The waitresses open carry while working. Sorry I am too lazy to google it but I know someone created a thread on here.
Heading over there this weekend also, dropping my daughter off at school.
Shooters grill in Rifle great food
EBR - Embrace the Darkness!
If you get really desperate, there is a titty bar on the west side of town............
My T.P. wheeling and dealing feedback is here.

Top Shot on I-70 buisness loop near the mall. Went a few years ago, good guy. He recently moved and seems to be doing quite well. Haven't been in his new building yet.

That's mean...
A Pawn when I was still in Junction was a good place for seeing anything, Jimmy had everything...
As far as food, most of the town has your regular crap that everywhere else has. Nothing really stands out in my mind.
Place to shoot? Drive in any direction for about ten to twenty minutes and you hit BLM land where you can shoot all day long. I think that is the part I miss the most. The very south end of C 1/2 Rd, the east end of 27 1/4 rd, are the two biggest spots to go "free range" shooting. Of course, on BLM land, you have to be careful of the guys on bikes and 4 wheelers that randomly come out of no where. Basically, if you see a truck with a ramp out there, expect to see a bike or something around you.
The bars there have one of two things, either stupid little kids with big mouths, or old ratty "biker" people that don't have bikes..... The bars were fun in my early 20's, but I quickly moved on.
If you do hiking, biking, 4 wheeling, or anything like that... there are tons and tons of trails there on the west side of the valley near the monument.

I have heard the museum there has a great gun collection, one of the best west of the Mississippi.
Roosters is a wing place with some awesome wings, they have an all you can eat time I think at lunch. Great wings. Also, go ask them about the one that isn't on the menu, I took the challenge in high school. It's something you will never forget.
a few wineries and a distillery up there that you can do tours of. Palisade is awesome for fresh peaches, definitely try one if you like peaches.
