    Default Feeding problems with Wolf

Help, I am new to this and took out my Bushmaster Hbar for the first firing. This is my first AR so of course I read all the instructions, stripped and cleaned the gun before going out and set out with 5 new pmags, 2 with American Tactical and 3 with Wolf.

The brass fired without any issues but the Wolf gave me fits. Almost every round miss-fed, had several double feeds and many ejection failures. Managed to get the bold carrier hung up before I gave up for the evening.

So the question is, what am I doing wrong or is the ammo the real cause? Seems many others can fire the steel without issue.

Any suggestions would be great, want to have as much info before setting out again so I can adjust as needed.

    Thanks,

I'd recommend shooting a good deal of brass before going to Wolf-break in period. This is what I did and have had no issues with it. Some will disagree about using Wolf but I think any quality AR will handle it fine. A little bit dirtier ammo but I need to clean it anyway so no issue there either.
Don't pick a fight with an old man. If he is too old to Fight, he'll just kill you.

Yes, if anyone has some they want to give away, I will come by and pick it up from you. I won't even charge you for my time or gas*.

*(amount of ammo and distance must be reasonable).

For the record I did as suggested and the wolf feeds OK after I have put a few hundred rounds of brass down first.

No need to come pick it up but thanks for the offer.

    Default Lot O' Lube....

Lots of CLP on your BGC when it is new. Rack on the chanrging handle a bunch to make sure it gets in there good, and cycles smoth and maybe an extractor spring upgrade.

Some guns just dont like some types of ammo. My likes them all but love the good stuff.
