DO NOT go to Appliance Factory Outlet.
This is the short version (trust me): We moved into our new house and didn't have a full size working fridge for almost 2 months. The first one they gave us simply did not refridgerate. After 3 weeks, they finally delivered a new one, scratched our brand new wood floors, and the freezer didn't work. Another 2 weeks and several repair visits later, the service tech made the freezer kind of work, but it wouldn't get below about 25 degrees F. Another several weeks, several hours on the phone and several repair visits later, we got fridge #3. At this point, we were demanding a refund, but they wouldn't give it to us. Fridge and freezer worked, but the ice maker did not. Several weeks later, several service visits, and several control boards later, I pulled the face off the ice maker to see if I could fix it. It has obviously been worked on before, with some very low quality workmanship... And the culprit was a set of wires that were electrical-taped together (no wire nut) that had come loose. Their freaking service techs couldn't figure that out. We also had a newborn at the time and needed a real fridge. I was borrowing fridge space from my neighbors for 2 months. My MIL finally got involved and threatened to burn the place to the ground if they didn't fix it, but by that time, I had fixed the ice maker and I honestly didn't ever want to talk to anyone associated with the company again.
Lesson learned: Don't put up with that bullshit ever again. Buy from a reputable store like Sears, Lowes, Home Depot, etc.
FWIW, the fridge was an LG french door (freezer on bottom) fridge. I wouldn't ever buy another LG.

You can get good products from Appliance Factory Outlet but you have to be very leery and inspect everything very close. I bought a washer and dryer from them for a great price, the catch was the dryer was open box. They tried to give me one with a massive dent and scratch on the top, I said no way. It took another week to get one but I got one that was almost perfect. They have worked flawlessly so far.

We've got a Sears outlet near us, on Yosemite. They had a huge amount of inventory that wasn't listed on their flyer, and what we wanted was a very specific style of fridge that wasn't made in Korea or had known issues. We found it, too, for less than half of what we would have had to pay through Home Depot. There was a scratch on the back right panel that's hidden from view. I'm very pleased- and how we managed for so long without a freezer-on-the-bottom type of fridge I have no idea.
One thing to keep in mind: the moving guys are paid a pathetic amount. They're stuck with an impossible schedule. Tip them well. If you need them to move an appliance (we were replacing an older fridge and needed the older one to go into the basement) DO NOT say anything to the Sears people calling to confirm the appointment. Instead, speak with the movers when they arrive. If their schedule isn't too tight, they will for some extra $.

We bought our new appliances at Home Depot. Salesperson looked up all their deals and applied them to our purchases without us prompting him.
Very happy with how it went, and their install folks showed up on-time and did just fine. We even sent back our first fridge because we changed our mind after it was sitting in our kitchen, about to be pushed back into place, and they didn't charge us for the failed+2nd delivery of a different model.
I have a Samsung and love it. Got it at Best Buy on a great sale. Free delivery. French door, bottom freezer. VERY quiet. It's lasted much longer than the Whirlpool Gold I had prior.
Some French door fridges the doors don't close easily. They shut ALMOST all the way but don't make that last little bit without you actually paying attention. The Samsung fridge I have all I have to do is get the door to swing in the general direction of shut and they do the rest with ease.
