Greenhouses
Does anyone have experience with high altitude greenhouses and a good source for checking into one for purchase?

You don't want to just build one? I would think it to be cheaper to build than to buy manufactured.

You could try searching greenhouse on craigslist. Years ago my dad got one for free on an "if you can move it you can have have it" deal. It's made out of that ugly opaque green sheeting that resembles corrugated steel.
The greenhouse now sits about 6000 feet elevation, probably a little lower than Teller county.

Grand Master Know It All
I know somebody who owns a nursery in Colorado Springs...
they build their own using bows, rounded ends (with doors), and heavy plastic sheet... they have 2 layers of plastic, with a small blower inflating the space between... this provides insulation and allows them to exend the growing season deeper into the winter season...

I'm building a 12x14. got all the glass for free from mainly Crags list. liked out and this guy had 22 38x74 double pane in frames.
Use red wood framing cinder block foundation.
My son has an attached one made from sliders.

We got ours off Craigslist a couple years ago. It's simply a 2x4 frame with double "pane" polycarbonate sheets. Watch out for clear glass, that can burn the plans - if you go that way, I'd suggest a translucent coating on the glass.
