    Default Sig 232 Magazine Spring

My wife recently was gifted a new Sig 232. She loves the gun, but due to a nerve problem with her hands she does not possess the finger/thumb strength to load the magazine past 5 rounds - and the 4th and 5th rounds are a struggle for her. Has anybody ever tried clipping a couple of "coils" off the magazine spring on these guns to alleviate some of the spring pressure? I just wanted to know if this would still allow the gun to cycle properly when the magazine only has one or two rounds left in it. Thanks!

I would think the gun would not function if the spring is shortened or weakened. Look into find a loading tool to help her fill the magazines. Try something like this:

Thanks for the tip. That one looks like a good small one to carry to the range. I also found this last night:

My only question was if anybody has used the above product on a 232? It says it fits "some 380s."
