I only ever saw an episode or three, so it is accurate to say I missed some stuff.

It was a mildly entertaining diversion, nothing more. But one thing that most of us here (especially the harsher critics) fail to realize is just how much Sons of Guns did to "normalize" the gun culture within the greater culture. And the damage done by Will's pedophilia will likely set back gun rights in general a bit because the only way we're going to get rid of the gun grabbers once and for all is to get more non-political Americans to own and shoot guns (this is "normalization").

The show was a typical reality show (as in not too realistic) and the cast weren't typical TV pretty people, and there are legitimate criticisms from the gun culture toward the show but we need to heed the words of Andrew Breitbart when he said "Politics is down stream from culture."

We need stupid shows like this (and even American Boobies-er-Guns) to get our collective foot in the door of the greater culture and start winning hearts and minds to our side. No, not every gun related reality show can be Top Shot Season 5, but the more shows there are out there showing gun owners and shooters as decent, normal people the better off we will be in the fights in Denver and DC.

Modern liberalism is based on the idea that reality is obligated to conform to one's beliefs because; "I have the right to believe whatever I want".

Does grammar and punctuation just elude these people?

Jerry Springer could do a full week with this crowd. Talk about airing dirty laundry in public...

I don't fully agree with Zund, in that most everyone on a reality TV show in the first place is a piece of shit. So it's hard to normalize guns when you use a medium that is flawed to begin with.

While I understand what you're saying I disagree. For me, I don't align myself with those who seem questionable just because their megaphone is louder & we're presenting the sane message. This idiot has ALWAYS rubbed me wrong & I was embarrassed to be associated with him. Now that this is out you can see why & even commented on this in your own post. Whatever perceived 'good' you think he did for our cause has been undone plus some by these allegations of what most consider the worst kind of atrocity, with good reason. I knew in the end it would be one step forward & two back from this outfit I just didn't see it happening like this. We need more people in the public spotlight supporting our cause but let's not jump to the support if just anyone & this situation puts a spotlight on why that is.

Agreed. They were no friend if the 2A cause & if anything gave legitimacy to what anti-2A already think of us & thus is just icing on the cake for them.

Personally, I enjoyed the show from the standpoint of fabrication and seeing things that I normally wouldn't know anything about. That being said, I hate drama, bad management, poor leadership, and UNSAFE behavior, which the show had in spades.

Now eldest daughter of 'Sons of Guns' reality show star Will Hayden claims he raped her too as a child. . . just a month after his arrest for molesting 12-year-old girl
The daughter of former reality show star Will Hayden, who was arrested last month on child molestation charges, is now claiming that she too was sexually abused as a child by her father.

Stephanie Hayden, who also starred in the recently cancelled Discovery reality show ‘Sons Of Guns’, is reportedly set to provide information to law enforcement in the coming days to aid in her father’s prosecution.

Her decision sparks a dramatic turnaround as she had originally pledged to stand by her father despite his arrest on August 9 for the alleged sexual abuse of her 12-year-old sister.
