    87% reporting
    Name Votes Vote %
    David A. Clarke Jr. (inc) 48,530 52%
    Chris Moews 45,324 48%

    Great news for this guy! I know Bloomberg put $150K into the campaign of the challenger. Glad to see that that didn't work and $150K of gun grabber money was wasted.

    I just found out today that this Sheriff is a Dem! Anyway, good to see someone who stands up for gun rights remaining in office in a fairly large city.

    Yeah...I think he's a democrat due to where he is, not for what he believes. Clarke is very conservative, or so I've heard.

    A 3200 vote spread with only 87% reporting in an area of the country owned by dems? I wouldn't count my chickens yet, there's a lot of fraud left to do.

    Still, proves that Bloomie's money ain't enough to guarantee a win.

    IIRC he's an R. who ran as a D. in supposedly winner take all. I could be incorrect. My track record this last few days is running close to the rockies

    Both candidates are running as Democrats. The winner moves on to the November general election. However, since no Republicans are in that contest, Tuesday’s winner will most likely become the next county sheriff.
