    Wasn't heavy enough.

Washington DC 14 minutes ago Shooting an unarmed person six times is usually called an execution in every other country in the world.....except when it happens in the US and the victim is a Black or Hispanic young male...then it's called....self defense!

This one's the real icing on the cake. Curious exactly who in real estate FORCED this person of color, to purchase in said subdivision? I'll tell you, the commenter . Hypothetically, on suspect he wasn't going to move in to the same type neighborhood he NEEDED TO GET AWAY FROM !

I live in an area in Arizona where I'm the only black man around the subdivision. I often think about jogging outside but I know that I can't due to the state of the black man in the World.

Truthfully, I believe that I will get shot by a gun owner "just because" or I will get stopped while jogging by the police, "fitting the description" of someone they were looking for, again leaving me shot.

I'm a business owner with 2 kids, one 20 and a college student and the second, a 2 year old. I moved from Chicago to Arizona to raise my 2 year old in a safer place, so I thought.

I'm just guessing here. Let's say for argument sake that the officer contacted the two males for walking down the middle of the street at noon. He was unaware of the strong arm robbery that just took place. He tries to contact them and is assaulted while trying to get out of the car. The suspect does so possibly due to the belief he is going to be contacted by the police for the robbery, but we won't ever know that for sure.

During the assault, the bigger and younger suspect gets the better of the officer and injures him with a few good blows to the face, body, neck, what have you. The suspect was 6-4 and 300 pounds. Unknown on size of officer, but the officer was 10 years older than the suspect. There might have been a struggle in/on the vehicle for the weapon, either from the officer pulling it to defend himself or the suspect trying to disarm the officer or a combination of both.

The suspect disengages and runs away. The officer tries to chase him. There is a point where the suspect stops and turns to confront the officer again. The officer has his weapon out and orders the suspect to the ground, which he disregards. The suspect walks toward, rushes or makes overt attempts at shortening the distance between him and the officer. Officer fires weapon in fear of being beaten again.

    What the investigation should show:

    Firearm discharge in/on/near vehicle.
Possible scrapes on/in vehicle or damage from officer gear.
Injuries on officer. Photos of officer in uniform to show disarray of uniform/no disarray of uniform. Injuries to face, hands if present.
Shell casings in relation to the body. How many shell casings and where.
Radio calls. What did the officer radio out? Did he say he had been in an altercation? Shots fired? Did he call out the initial contact?

Food for thought off the top of my head.

    This troubles me: http://www.rasmussenreports.com/publ...about_ferguson

So, according to this poll, 23% of adults in America have already decided that a Ferguson police officer is guilty of murdering Michael Brown, 26% believe the officer was acting in self defense, and 51% are undecided.

Has our society become so ADD that we can't wait a few months for a thorough investigation to be completed?

I know, dumb question. At least for once, I find myself in the majority, according to this poll.

In other news, I'm sure everyone noticed how many shootings/murders occurred in Chicago and NYC over the past weekend. I don't expect those numbers to overwhelm the media coverage in Ferguson. People love a train wreck.

Listened to the press conference a little this morning. All he kept saying was "assassination of this boy". This is only going to get worse.

First it was "teenager". To fan the flames, he's now a "boy". Dude was a MAN. A grizzly bear sized MAN. But that description isn't sensational enough for the media.

When will FEMA arrive to start handing out food and water to all of the victims (aka riotous looters) of Ferguson?

I thought there were laws about instigating a riot, apparently like all other laws those laws only apply to certain people in certain situations and circumstances.

Doncha just love selective law enforcement.

We have. CSI solves a murder in 42 minutes (allowing for commercials in the hour broadcast).
