It's sad all the news stations keep talking about this and saying it's not true. Maybe if they advertise it enough someone will try something and they'll have another story on their hands.

Exactly. By perpetuating this stupidity, the news stations all get something to report. More viewers = more profits.

I think a purge is a good idea. Have all the law abiding people get in their houses, let the criminals go out on the streets...bring in the military to clean house. Pretty easy to know who's a criminal and who's not at that point.
All I know is I have a good open field of fire in front of the house. Even the houses directly across the cul-de-sac are okay as long as I'm shooting downward from the second floor or aiming low from the first floor.
Oh yeah, and I have plenty of ammo in/near the master bedroom.

Just wall the whole damned city off with a single entrance on the Maryland side. We take everything of historic value out of the Smithsonians and then put the politicians in those buildings then make the entrance to the District a one-way portal in.

DC? Build a wall 200 feet high around the entire city, nothing gets in or out.
