KUSA - The Colorado Bureau of Investigation issued an Amber Alert Wednesday night for a 3-year-old boy. It was requested by the Larimer County Sheriff's Office.

Blue Lee Spencer is believed to be with his father, Jarred Spencer. Jarred's father called police and told them his son violated a protection order. He told investigators he believed Jarred was having a paranoid episode and was speaking of a possible bomb in his truck, and people in his attic and basement. Jarred Spencer also told his father there were bruises on the child.

They were last seen leaving the Viewpoint subdivision in Wellington in a gold 1999 Ford F-150 truck at approximately 2 p.m. Wednesday. The truck has Colorado plate 942-EPF.

Blue is white male. He is 3 feet tall and weighs 45 pounds. He has short, spiked, blonde hair. Investigators say he had several temporary tattoos on his abdomen.

His father, Jarred, is also white. He is 5 feet 11 inches tall, and weighs about 175 pounds. He has blue eyes, and short blonde hair. He is 32 years old. Jarred has a cross with names on his left forearm and a tattoo of a skull on his right forearm.

Police spoke with Blue's mother who had obvious injuries. She would not tell police if they were caused by Jarred Spencer.
