    I appreciate the looking for a missing child but let me tell you when our phones start screaming at 1030 at night while I'm lying in bed I am none to pleased.

    Which is the question that folks are really wondering....why did they wait 8 hours? Amber Alerts are meant to get the word out quickly.

    No joke, it was very loud and scared the crap out of me and my wife. At first I thought a tornado was barreling through. First time our cell phones went crazy like that.
