For the record, I HATE people parking in front of my house, period.

I purposely bought a house on a corner lot so that we would have lots of parking, I have 6 licensed vehicles, and we always have lots of family over. The fucking idiot polish people that live on the side of our house and across the street ALWAYS park on the side of my house and it drives me insane. I totally understand every now and then if you have people over or something, but for that to be your everyday parking spot, no. About a month ago I had my daughter start parking on that side and told her every couple of days park a little father back, she finally ended up pushing them back past our property line. This week she started parking in the front of our house again and they've stayed back so maybe they got the hint.
Can you put a "No Parking" sign underneath the mail box on the post? I would never spray battery acid on their paint tho'...
I had issues with jerks parking at my apartment complex when I lived in Lakewood. I did, of course, have one towed once, but prior to getting fed up (despite the reserved parking sign being directly in front of my parking spot) I left nice hand written notes informing the offender that they were illegally parked and that this was their one and only warning to never do this again or else they'd be towed. Mr. Fred, it may sound silly or moot to do so, but sometimes leaving a note lets people know that they're pissing others' off. Parking aside, if I'm completely unaware my behavior is pissing someone off I keep acting the way I do. Although, if I find that my behavior is pissing someone off, depending on the situation, I'll probably continue anyway (like when dealing with libtards).

My former neighbor parked his vehicle in front of my house for about 2 months.. never moved.. Did I feel bad when the windows were busted out? Nope.. not one bit.. Turns out though.. I should have put thermite on the hood and burned the whole thing down as he was out in Cali raping a child.. Sometimes being an asshole is justified in hindsight.
Don't we have a thread for bad parking already?
Leave one of those notes about if they screw like they park, they'll never get it in...
I chock this up to living in suburbs... someone parked that close to my driveway, and I'll push it out of the way with my truck...
But I don't live in the 'burbs, either- nobody in their right mind would park that close to my driveway

I'm with you- I find it incredibly annoying when anyone parks in front of our house (unless I know they are visiting neighors.) We live in a very tight neighborhood. Now that the asshole neighbors next door have moved away, they are no longer blocking our mailbox.
As you're unsure of who is doing this parking job, I'd leave a note on their windshield. It could be something as simple as, "please don't park in front of the mailboxes" or it could be something like, "just thought you should know that some people were scoping out your vehicle the past couple of times it has been parked in this spot." You could also take initiative and park there yourself. Or set a couple of cones there, ready to move them when the mail truck comes by...
