I wonder if it bothers your neighbors that the lawn and driveway in the center bottom of your picture looks like shit. in the pictures the driveway and grass on the left look like an abandoned meth house.

people can edge the concrete, spray weed killer, water the grass, stuff like that.

Actually, if they can't park between the driveways without infringing on the 5 foot zone on one side or the other (or both, in this case), then it is not a legal parking space for that particular vehicle. We have exactly one parking space in our cul-de-sac, but I can't park my truck or the wife's Rodeo there for that very reason. The people that platted our subdivision were complete idiots, as there are 44 houses (22 duplexes) on a block and a half of street, most with 1 car garages, and there is legal street parking for about 20 cars.

I think it's an optical illusion... he may be referring to the street/sidewalk combination, if you focus wrong it looks like a wall.

Oh haha! Yeah, the super wide streets/sidewalks were a bonus for this house. As you can also see, I have plenty of on street parking in front of my house without bothering neighbors.

My ex-wife hated people parking in front of our house. Ours was the first one built on our cul-de-sac and the construction workers would park all around the street while working on the next seven houses. She would call the foreman every time one of his guys parked anywhere along "our" curb. He finally got fed up with her and nailed large orange cones into the street all across the front of our house, about five feet from the curb, and strung yellow construction tape between them. It looked ridiculous, but the ex preferred it. She later pissed off all the neighbors due in part to her parking enforcement demands.

If it bothers you that much, just go talk to them.

That's it. you said neighbors. Up this neck o the woods, neighbors are like real close. It does look like a wall, if one approach the house as being next door.

Going to have to figure out a way to use this pic as a which one is closer puzzle.
