    Default Free Concealed Carry Classes?

Anybody used these guys for their CCW class? Came across their website yesterday and thought I'd check with those who know more than I do.

They work on donations both from the class participants as well as outside donors as well.

    "helped thousands of students..."

hmmm. I've been teaching full time for several years and it takes a big pool to draw thousands of students. I think it's a bit of an exaggeration on their end but I could be wrong.

Its a lecture only class. If you just want the certificate for your permit it does the job in a cost effective way.

The instructor has been around a while so "thousands" means just that. Greater than 2000 students. .

It is certainly affordable. I will have to take my daughter to one and get her on the path.

thank you Mr Webster. I had no clue what "thousands" meant.

What I was suggesting is that it is odd that having helped more than 2000 people in Colorado, no one has heard of him before, student or instructor, nor is there any info on his class. Word of a "free" CCW class that is worthwhile would spread quickly in this community and there has been quite the opposite.

I've heard of them. A few of my friends have attended the class.

Was it a decent class or just fulfilling the state requirements? Any chance of a review of the class & staff? As I mentioned before, a worthwhile free CCW class would be busy every weekend if people shared that information and their experiences.

It covers the state requirements. It is not an in depth class, but you get the certificate. It is geared toward those that know how to operate their firearms, but need to go through through the motions to get the man's approval.

This is right on. I used them for my 10 year renewal back in March. If someone was going for their first time, I recommend spend the money and go with someone on here who has a good reputation and get into a more in-depth class.

Guns For Everyone is the group that does these classes and they have several levels of classes you can take. IMO these folks are doing a great job.
